Claire V. Costello, 81, of Woodlyn died July 7, 2011 at Crozer Chester Medical Center. Claire was born in Philadelphia where she resided until moving to Ridley Township thirty eight years ago.
She was a Benefits Administrator for Teledyne Wirz Company for fifteen years and previously worked for Taylor Hospital. Mrs. Costello graduated from Little Flower High School and was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and Birding, but most important was being with her family.
Claire was the daughter of the late Harry and Nora Dunn Magsam, wife of the late James C. Costello her husband of forty one years at his death in 2003 and sister of the late Harry, John and Francis Magsam.
She is survived by her daughters Nora P. Doyle (Joseph) and Kathryn M. Yang (Dr. Paul Po-Tsang Yang), her grandchildren Brittany, Kaylie, Aidan, Luke and Claire. Also her sisters Nora Callahan, Grace Horton, Helen Antoinelly and June Windish.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated 10:00AM Monday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone, PA 19022 where friends may call after 9:00AM. Burial will be in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
