Claiborne J. "Clay" Morse, 78, of Folsom, died on June 7, 2026. Born in Philadelphia, the son of the late Claiborne and Elizabeth Biebel Morse, he had been a resident of Folsom for the past 21 years.
Clay was a graduate of Northeast Catholic High School, Class of 1966 and was a proud veteran of the US Army, having served during the Vietnam War, and continued his service to the United States as member of the US Naval Reserves for an additional four years. Before his retirement in 2009, Clay had been employed as an Office Manager at Pitney Bowes.
Clay was a member of American Legion Post 507 in Norwood and was a ham radio enthusiast under the call sign K3NGV, first obtaining his license at the age of 12. He was an accomplished woodworker and pilot, and his hobbies included skiing and playing guitar.
He was the loving husband of Sarah V. "Sally" Selfridge Morse; father of Christopher C. Morse (Molly), Andrew F. Morse, and Elisabeth H. Del Presto (Paul); brother of Joan Hughes (Roger) and Thomas Morse (Debi); and he was the grandfather of Alma Morse, Leo Morse, Luca Del Presto, and Callen Del Presto.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11 AM on Monday, June 15, 2026, at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, where relatives and friends may call after 10 AM. Burial will take place at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd., Newtown, PA 18940.
