Charlotte Fouraker Knopp of Ewing, NJ passed away Sept. 28, 2012 at the age of 93 at the home of her daughter Susan in Buckeye, Arizona.
Born in Marcus Hook, PA, she lived 48 years in Ridley Park, PA. She graduated from West Chester State College in 1941 and married the late Robert Knopp in 1942.
She taught music at Trainer School District for 5 years and was a teacher at Darby Elementary School for 9 years.
Charlotte was the wife of the late Robert Knopp, her husband of 60 years, who died in 2002 and the daughter of the late Charles and Myrtle Fouraker of Marcus Hook.
She will be remembered by her family and friends as a loving, caring person, who enjoyed singing in the church choir. She sang (solos many times) in the Ridley Park and Swarthmore United Methodist Church choirs for many years.
She enjoyed and loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren very much.
Charlotte and Robert enjoyed square dancing, traveling and collecting antique dolls.
Survivors: Her children Miriam Costa (Albert), Rebecca Behrendt (Larry), Robert C. Knopp (Susan), Susan Coryell (Raymond), 10 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren and brother Ernest Fouraker .
Funeral Service 10:00AM Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park. Visitation 7 to 9PM Friday and after 9:00AM Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial: Lawn Croft Cemetery
