Charles J. "Charlie" Lamb, 66, of Cape May, NJ died January 11, 2018 at his home. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late William J. and Anna Flynn Lamb, and resided in Prospect Park before moving to his late residence 4 years ago.
Charlie was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Boys, class of 1969 and was employed by E.I. DuPont as a mechanic before he retired. He was a former member of St. Gabriel R.C. Church and loved going to the beach with his grandson, Nicky and his dog, Angel. Charlie was an avid sports fan, he enjoyed fishing, the Firehouse Tavern in Wildwood and being at home with family.
Charlie was predeceased by his brothers, Stephen Lamb and William Lamb.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Eleanor Rieco Lamb; his children, William Hoehing, Jr. (Amanda), William Lamb, Charles Lamb and Linda Lamb Ditri (Louie); his grandchildren, Nicky, Domenic, Anthony, Victoria, Emily and Mia; his sisters, Anna Lamb Price (William) and Miriam Truax; his sister-in-law, Susan Breen Lamb; also, many nieces and nephews.
