Charles Edward Glissman, 79, of Aston, died July 15, 2019 at his home. Born on October 13, 1939 in Wilmington, DE, he was the son of the late Clarence and Ruth Radell Yolton and resided in Bethel Twp. before moving to his late residence in 1975.
Charles served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was employed as a Corrections Officer Sergeant at the George W. Hill Correctional Facility in Delaware County before retiring in 2001. He was a former member of Concord Lodge F. & A.M., loved model trains and airplanes, was an avid collector and reader, but most important was his family.
Charles was the father of Kimberly Carrillo (Sergio), Jennifer Glissman and Melissa Glissman; grandfather of Rosie, Sandra and Sergio Carrillo, Alex, Criselda, Lilia and Jailyn Romero and Anastasia, Michael McAndrew, Michaela and Daniela Evans.
