Charles E. "Chuck" MacColl, 73
Of Ridley Park, died January 4, 2011 at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. Born in Chester, he was son of the late Hugh F. and Hilda Wolfgang MacColl.
Mr. MacColl served in the US Army from July of 1957 thru July of 1960. He was a resident of Ridley Park and Ridley Township for the past fifty years. He was employed as a machinist at the former A.H. Wirz Company in Chester, retiring in 1998. Mr. MacColl enjoyed traveling with his wife, golf, tennis and being with his family and friends.
He was husband of the late Dorothy C. Diggins MacColl who died November 6, 2010 after fifty years of marriage and brother of the late Hugh F. "Bud" MacColl and Ray O. MacColl.
Survivors: his step-son William H. Buchanan (Deborah) of Morton, brothers James J. MacColl (Sarajo) of Bear, DE and John E. MacColl (Maryann) of Wilmington, DE, grandchildren Brook Doughty and William Buchanan. Also survived by his great-granddaughter Emily Doughty.
