Catherine L. Pardo, 89 of Aston, PA and Miami, FL died January 8, 2013 at her home in Aston.
Born in Brownsville, PA she lived in N.E. Philadelphia before moving to her late residence in 1991.
Catherine attended the Church of St. Joseph and was last employed as a Nanny by the Nasuti Family in Bryn Mawr, PA. She was a woman devoted to her children and families.
Catherine was wife of the late Napoleon Joseph Pardo who died in 2001, daughter of the late Lorenzo and Orsola Bono Burnette, sister of the late Lebro Burnette, Lawrence Burnette, Isabelle Hustey, George Burnette, Peter Burnette, Lena Bruno and Bruno Burnette and grandmother of the late Aaron Zimmerman.
Survivors: her daughters Janice Pardo, Linda Pardo and Kathy Watkins (Gary); grandchildren Neal (Robyn) and Jay (Amy) Benjamin, Eric Zimmerman, Lola Borkowski (Edward), Lindsay Zurawski (Jason), Ryan and Emily Watkins; also great grandchildren Delaney, Margo, Madden and Audrey.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter's Catholic Church with burial in Brownsville, PA at a later date. Memorial gifts to Taylor Hospice, P.O. Box 147, Ridley Park, PA 19078.
