Catherine R. Mason (nee Rush), 92, of Swarthmore died on July 9, 2025.  Born in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Pawley Rush, she lived in Southwest Philadelphia before moving to Swarthmore in 1965.

Catherine was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Girls and was an active member of Notre Dame de Lourdes R.C. Church.  She was a member of the Notre Dame Seniors and enjoyed going to the casinos and trips to beach at Cape May and the Pocono Mountains.  Most important was her loving family, especially her cherished grand and great-grandchildren.

She was the loving wife of the late John E. "Jack" Mason, mother of Nancy Majoros (George), Cathy Donlon, Dennis Mason and the late John F. "Jack" Mason and Timothy G. Mason, sister of Mary Herrschaft, John Rush, William Rush and the late Thomas Rush, Sr. Anne Rush, HC, Joseph Rush and James Rush, she is also survived by seven grandsons and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Notre Dame de Lourdes R.C. Church, 990 Fairview Rd., Swarthmore where relatives and friends may call after 9:30 AM.  Burial will follow in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
