Catherine E. "Kitty" Minnich Egee, 81, of Collingdale, died peacefully on February 6, 2013 at Crozer-Chester Medical Center.

Born on June 13, 1931, Kitty lived in West Philadelphia for most of her early years where she met her beloved husband Thomas, prior to moving to her late residence 55 years ago.

She was a graduate of John Bartram High School, Class of 1949. Kitty was last employed for Green Tree Mutual Insurance and previously worked at Collingdale Lumber. Kitty was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Clifton Heights. The most important thing was her love and devotion to her family. She loved her grandchildren and never missed a game, play or recital.

She was wife of the late Thomas B. Egee, who died March 21, 1997 after 48 years of marriage, and daughter of the late Harrison and Catherine Sherman Minnich.

Survivors: her children Thomas Egee, Jr. (Carol), Jeffrey Egee (Marie) and Cathy Caton, her grandchildren Thomas, Laura, Daniel and Kyle Egee, Jeffrey (Beatriz), Brian, Kevin, Steven and Jennifer Egee; Barry and Ryan Caton, and she was looking forward to the birth of her first great grandchild in May.

Funeral Service: 8 PM Sunday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park,

Visitation: 6:30 to 8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
