Obituary
Catherine M. Porter Cavanaugh 84, of Aston died February 12, 2011 at Fair Acres Geriatric Center.
Born in Darby, she lived in East Lansdowne for 76 years before moving to Aston eight years ago.
She was an assembly line worker for J.B. Slevin Co. for 26 years, retiring in 1988.
Mrs. Cavanaugh was a member of Garden Church in Lansdowne where she served as a greeter and also enjoyed being with neighbors and her family.
She was sister of the late Richard Porter, Doris Mugler and Tootsie Worthington.
Survivors: children Linda Ruckle (Allen) of Sante Fe, NM, William Cavanaugh and Dale Cavanaugh, both of Aston, grandson Joseph Sullivan, sister Elmira Carpenter of Upper Chichester, also nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial service 11:00AM Thursday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston where friends may call after 10:00AM.
Burial private.
