Catherine M. Basile, 100 of Glenolden died on November 5, 2017 at Manor Care at Wallingford.

Born in Philadelphia, she has lived at her late residence for 64 years.

Catherine was a member of Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church. She began her working career as a "Rosie the Riveter" during WWII and ended it by working at the Bazaar of All Nations.

Catherine enjoyed ballroom dancing with her husband and friends.
She was the wife of the late Frank A. Basile, her husband of 62 years, who died in 2008 and she was the last of six siblings.

She is survived by her daughters, Joette Feeney (James) and Susan Hunt (Robert); grandchildren Christopher Feeney, Patrick Feeney, Robert Hunt, Jr., and Catherine Gilbert; also, her great granddaughter Emma.

Funeral Service 11:00AM Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where friends may call after 10:00AM.

Burial Holy Cross Cemetery.
