Carrie E. Stewart (nee Liberto), 77 of Norwood, entered into eternal peace surrounded by her eight children on February 18, 2014 at Taylor Hospice Residence.

Daughter of the late Paul and Mary Liberto, she is also predeceased by her husband Donald E. Stewart, Sr., who died in 1996.

Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Stewart lived in Norwood for 45 years. She was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Girls. She was known as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

She loved her soap operas, and was particularly fond of Sea Isle City, NJ, where she enjoyed sitting on the beach with her family.

Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her grandchildren remember her fondly as "Mom-Mom Carrie".

Carrie is survived by her four sons, Donald Stewart, Jr. (Karen) of Morton, Michael Stewart (Cathy) of Springfield, Timothy Stewart (Donna) of Milmont Park and Robert Stewart of Norwood; four daughters, Noreen Strack (Ric) of Morton, Karen Meadows (Mike) of Langhorne, Tricia Grande (Tony) of Springfield and Eileen Kwait (Tom) of Secane; also 20 grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is also survived by her sister Mary Perry.

Funeral Mass 11:00Am Saturday, February 22, 2014 at St. Gabriel's R.C. Church, 233 Mohawk Ave., Norwood, PA. Visitation 9AM to 10:15AM at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA. Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
