Caroline V. Lester 78 of Eddystone, PA, a woman devoted to her home and especially her family, died August 27, 2015 at her home.
Born in Landisburg, WV, she lived in Ronceverte, WV before moving to her late residence 28 years ago.
Caroline was wife of the late Everette R. Lester, who died in 1982, mother of the late John O. Lester (2006), Jessie J. Lester (2014) and Mary E. Lester (1975) and daughter of the late Joseph T. Cahill and Elizabeth Sheaves Cahill Snow.
She is survived by her children, Daniel R. Lester of Hattiesburg, MS, Paul H. Lester of Arco, ID, Silas J. Lester of Eddystone, PA, Francine Baker of Fouroaks, NC, Ruth Kirk of Williamsburg, WV and Tim Lester of Lewisburg, WV; also her siblings, Gary Cahill of Belton, TX, Mary Ann Ruff of Rosewood, OH, Isabella Vandall of Burington, IA and Joe Cahill of Grand Blanc, MI; also 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Visitation Friday, August 28, 2015 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave. Ridley Park.
Funeral Service 12Noon Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at the McCraw Funeral Home, 304 Courtney Drive, Lewisburg, WV. Visitation Monday 7 to 9 PM and after 11AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
