Caroline M. "Carol" Davis, 87, of Ridley Park, died August 2, 2019 at her daughter and son-in-law's home. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William Lionel Herr and Charlotte Handforth Herr D'Ambro and resided in Belmont Hills, PA, before moving to her late residence 66 years ago.

Carol was a graduate of Overbrook High School, class of 1949 and was a member of the Ridley Park Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed bowling, the NJ shore and spent many years in N. Wildwood, but most important was her loving family.

Carol was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Howard O. Davis, Jr., who died August 18, 2003.
She is survived by her children, Howard E. Davis (Jacquelyn) and Carol L. Savage (Michael); her grandchildren, Howard J. Davis, Michael (Kim), Paul (Kelly), Karl (Francesca) Savage and Carolyn (Matthew) Ragan; seven great grandchildren; and her sister, Mary Miller.

Funeral Service: 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078, where relatives and friends may call after 9 AM.
