Carole Ann Hill MacDonald, 76, of Swarthmore, died December 21, 2012 at Crozer-Keystone Hospice at Taylor. Born in Chester, Carole lived in Ridley Park, prior to moving to her late residence 51 years ago.

She was a graduate of Ridley Park High School, Class of 1955, and was previously employed as a secretary at G.E. Switchgear. Carole enjoyed the Christmas season, holiday baking, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Carole was wife of the late Thomas W. MacDonald who died May 6, 2001 after 42 years of marriage and daughter of the late Russell and Helen Sandilands Hill.

Survivors: mother of Jeffrey A. MacDonald (Joanne) and Deborah Lynn MacDonald Roberts (Richard), sister of Kenneth Hill and Russell Hill, Jr. and grandmother of Alexander and Kira Roberts.

Funeral Service: 10 AM Thursday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park

Visitation: after 9 AM Thursday at the funeral home.

Burial: Edgewood Memorial Park.
