Obituary
Carol Quinn White 64 of Blakeslee, PA, died March 11, 2011 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.
Born in Ridley Park, daughter of the late Herbert L. and Dorothy Miller Quinn, she lived in Broomall before moving to the Pocono area in 1995.
She was a graduate of Marple Newtown High School, Class of 1964 and the Philadelphia Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing and was last employed as a Registered Nurse at Taylor Hospital.
Mrs. White was a member of the Marple Presbyterian Church where she served as a deacon. With her three dogs, Carol volunteered at nursing homes doing pet therapy. She enjoyed traveling and has seen most of the U.S.A., also sang with the Marple Choir and taught interpretation dance at Marple Newtown.
She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years and best friend David N. White. Mrs. White was sister in law of Rodger and Nancy, Warren and Joyce, Richard and Dawn White, Margaret Pitts, Sue and Buddy Fachet, Sandy Dwyer, Kathy Steele, Shirley and Larry Fulton, also numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service 1:00PM Wednesday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where friends may call after 12:00Noon.
Burial private.
