Carol Anne Snyder Sciarra, 72, of Swarthmore was sent to her eternal home on May 7th 2025 after a long battle with cancer, surrounded by her immediate family.

Carol Anne is remembered by her loving husband John Sciarra, her daughter Annemarie Rose, and her dog Cole. Carol Anne was predeceased by her parents Alice and William Snyder, and mother in law Dorothy Sciarra. She leaves behind numerous family, friends, and acquaintances.

Carol Anne was a Unit Clerk at Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital for 37 years before retiring in 2019. Carol Anne lived in Candler, NC and Asheville, NC in the early 70's where her family spent most of their summers.  An avid skier, she was a member of Buck Ridge Ski Club. She skied while traveling through Europe and Canada in the late 70's and 80's. Through the same club, she sailed most of the Atlantic Ocean. She was a Ridley Raider Marching Band Parent and a Juniata College Admissions Ambassador. Carol Anne enjoyed spending time with family and friends in Ocean City, NJ and had planned to live there during retirement.

Carol Anne was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, giving, and compassion. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her. We ask that you remember her for the profound impact she had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 17th 2025 at 11:00 am at Chambers Memorial Church 2 East Sylvan Ave, Rutledge, PA 19070. Family and friends may call at 10:00 am.

Interment will be private at the family's convenience.
