Carol A. Graham 71 of Aston, died on January 12, 2021 at her home.
Born in Chester, she lived in Chester Township before moving to her late residence in 1964.
Carol was active in local and state government, currently was the Supervisor of Housekeeping for Delaware County. She also served as Aston Township 2 nd Ward Commissioner for 11 years, 2 nd Ward Republican Committee Woman, Aston Township Police Commissioner and was Past Judge of Elections, Aston Township Parks and Recreation Chair, she was instrumental in the building and completions
Also was the Library Liaison, current President of the Delaware County 1 st Class Township Commissioners, was First Vice President of the Eastern Pennsylvania Association of Township Commissioners, was Past Fire Commissioner of Aston Township, Honorary Life Member of Felton Hose and Chemical Company and the Ladies Auxiliary, Member of the Delaware County Republican Women's Committee, she retired from the Delaware County Courthouse as Supervisor of Housekeeping, member of the Moose Lodge of America.
Carol has maintained a "Pen-pal" friendship with her lifelong friend (since they were 12 years old) Territu from Finland, something unheard of these days.
She was a member of the Church of St. Joseph, a graduate of Sun Valley High School, class of 1967 and attended Delaware County Community College.
Carol was predeceased by her parents, the late William J. and Irene Miles Miller; also her brothers, the late Ronald F. Miller and the late William J. Miller, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, James E. Graham; her children, Jennifer Kesseler (Will), James Patrick Graham (Renee) and Katherine "Kit" Spayd (Nicholas); brothers Joseph J. Miller and Charles P. Miller (Verna); grandchildren, Alexandra Voorhees, Evelyn and Olivia Spayd, Lucas Kessler and Kiera Graham.
Funeral Mass 10:30AM Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at The Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Rd., Aston.
Visitation Monday 5:30 to 8:00PM at the Aston Township Community Center, 3270 Concord Rd, Aston and Tuesday 9:15 to 10:15 AM at the Church. Burial Mt. Hope Cemetery.
