Carol Ann Dietrich (nee Zimmerman), 87 of Ridley Park died on June 30, 2026 at her home with her loving husband by her side. Born in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late Henry and Helen Pollock Zimmerman, she had lived in Philadelphia and Glenside before moving to Ridley Park in 1967.

Carol was a graduate of Abington High School, class of 1956. She was a Sunday School and Crossroads Teacher at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church for 12 years before her retirement in 2025 and had previously worked at John Wanamaker's Department Store and at Leedom Elementary School in the Ridley School District. Carol was an active and devoted member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher, Layreader and was a member of the Choir and Altar Guild.

She was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and was a talented sign writer and window decorator. Her other hobbies included gardening and reading, but most important was her loving family.

She was the loving wife of John P. Dietrich, mother of Rob Guentter (Janelle), Tina Marie Ryan, Sheila Lynn Dietrich (Janice Attiq) and Pamela Jane Fisher (Samuel), sister of Joan Pollock Whitmire (David) and is also survived by ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Ronald Anthony Pergolini.

A Celebration of Carol's Life will take place at 11 AM on Monday July 13, 2026 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 927 S. Providence Rd., Wallingford, PA 19086 where relatives and friends may call after 10 AM. Burial private.
