Carmela E. Ricci Wooten, 86, of Ridley Park died November 7, 2010. Mrs. Wooten was born in Chester and has lived in Ridley Park for the past fifty three years.

Mrs. Wooten was the administrative secretary for the Honorable Rita Prescott retiring in 1985. She was a member of The Church of St Madeline in Ridley Park. She was an avid Phillies fan, but most important to her was spending time with her family, both on vacation and at family gatherings.

Mrs. Wooten was wife of the late Edward A. Wooten who died in October 2004 and sister of the late Anthony J. Ricci.

She is survived by her children Kathleen Miller (Richard) of Henderson, NV, Janice Shallis (George) of Swarthmore, Nancy Gorgone (John) of Ridley Park, Marybeth Huczko of Little Briton, PA, Elizabeth McDevitt (Chris) of Landenberg, PA and Jean Morris (David) of Ridley Park. She was sister of Mary Brinkworth of West Chester and Diane Murray of West Chester. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass: 10 AM Friday November 12, 2010 at The Church of St. Madeline, Penn Street and Morton Avenue, Ridley Park

Burial: Lawn Croft Cemetery

Visitation 7 to 9 PM Thursday and 8:30 to 9:15 AM Friday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarhtmore Avenue, Ridley Park.
