Carmela Cucinotta 91 of Collingdale, died on December 24, 2017 at Naaman's Creek Country Manor.
Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of late Gaetano and Domenica Cardullo Cucinotta and has lived at her late residence since 1970.
She was a member of St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Collingdale and a volunteer at Delaware County Memorial Hospital Thrift Shop and loved trips to the casino. Most important to her was her family.
Carmela was last employed as a cashier at Sears.
She was predeceased by her brother, Sebastian "Benny" Cucinotta.
Carmela is survived by her sister Grace C. DeRitis; niece Cynthia M. O'Hanlon (late William P. O'Hanlon); great nephews Kevin W. O'Hanlon (Julia) and William P. O'Hanlon, Jr. (Jordyn); great niece Cynthia M. "Cindi" O'Hanlon (Kyle); great great nephew Brooks O'Hanlon and great great niece Morgan O'Hanlon; also her cousin Nancy Strano.
Funeral Mass 10:30AM Saturday, December 30, 2017 at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 500 Woodlawn Ave., Collingdale, PA where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:15AM. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery.
Memorial gifts to Drexel Neumann Academy, 1901 Potter St., Chester, PA 19013.
