Carl S. Hupchick, 74, of Milmont Park, died January 28, 2014 at Crozer Keystone Hospice at Taylor. Born in Charleroi, PA, son of the late Carl and Sophia Kostelac Hupchick, he lived in Prospect Park before moving to his late residence in 1965.
Carl was employed at Boeing for 18 years retiring in 2002 and previously was employed at Westinghouse Corporation. Carl was a veteran of the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserves and was a member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church. Carl loved fishing and was an avid sports fan, he loved trips to Florida and attending Spring Training games, but most important was his devotion to his family.
He was father of the late Jeffrey S. Hupchick who died on March 23, 2001.
Survivors: wife of 52 years, Elaine Huweart Hupchick, father of Valerie J. Hupchick, John J. Hupchick and Christine McCrae (James), grandfather of Taylor, Carly, Amber and Jimmy, also survived by his mother-in-law Rose Huweart.
Funeral Mass: 10:30 AM Friday at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 208 Milmont Ave., Milmont Park
Visitation: 9 to 10 AM Friday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park
Burial: Mount Hope Cemetery
