Carl L. Goerlach, Jr. 86 of Ridley Park, died on April 6, 2022 at his home.

Born in Upper Darby to the late Carl L. and Isabel Frame Goerlach, he lived in Darby before moving to his late residence in 1966.

Carl was a machinist at the former Scott Paper Company, now Kimberly Clark for 38 years, retiring in 1997.

He was a member of The Church of St. Madeline and a graduate of Lansdowne-Aldan High School, class of 1953.

Carl was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a selfless person who was always eager to help others. He was the best husband, father and Pop.

He was brother of the late Richard Goerlach.

Carl was the loving husband of Rae C. Conroy Goerlach, his wife of 63 years; devoted father of Donna M. Brause (Jon), Lisa A. Standeven (Bob) and Carl L. Goerlach, III (Sharon); 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
