Cameron G. Lessly, 30, of Swarthmore died December 31, 2016 at his home. Born in Oklahoma City, OK, he was the son of R. Kent and Sylvia K. Lessly and resided in Media before moving to his late residence 27 years ago.

Cameron was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 2005 and was employed by BMC Office Furniture in Scranton. His many and wide-ranging interests included skateboarding, snowboarding and a love of animals. Cameron loved to make people laugh. He told a good story, no, he would act out a good story turning near tragedy into comedy almost every time. Cameron was a genius with his hands and loved mechanics whether it was Legos, working on cars or doing his job, installing multi-million dollar office furniture systems. Cameron was the go-to guy for family and friends, whether they needed a sounding board about ideas or just a good laugh to put troubles into perspective. He was an adventurous soul always looking for new experiences that would result in yet another hilarious (and hair raising) tale to tell. And food! How can someone so slim and trim enjoy cooking, improving on recipes (even perfecting the Philly cheesesteak) and of course devouring the results always with the help of others. There was always a place at Cameron's table for others.

Survivors: brother of K. Paige Dillard (Marc); uncle to Chase R. Dillard; Grandson of Sue Dowling, Mary Jane Lessly (Late Charles D. Lessly) and Linda Dowling (Late William Peter Dowling); also, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
