C. Robert Malone, 85, of Ridley Park died January 3, 2014 at Taylor Hospice Residence. Born in Delta, PA, son of the late Charles R. and Latona P. Thomas Malone, he was a lifelong resident of Delaware County.

Robert was a graduate of Ridley Park High School, class of 1946 and Temple University with a BS in Electrical Engineering. He was a member of the Ridley Park Presbyterian Church where he was the Clerk of Session, on the Board of Trustees and volunteered with the Saturday Morning Crew doing odd jobs around the church. Robert enjoyed hunting and working with wood and was a bullet reloader.

He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Veronica J. Malone, who died on August 7, 2013.

Survivors: his cousins, Betty G. Castigliano-Scott and Dr. Martha Thomas; also his longtime friend, Norman W. Huxley.

Funeral Service: 10 AM Thursday at the Ridley Park Presbyterian Church,
300 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078.

Visitation: 8:30 to 9:30 AM Thursday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park.

Burial: Slateville Cemetery
