Bruce L. Curtiss

Bruce L. Curtiss, 62, a lifelong resident of Ridley Park died on April 29, 2026. Born in Darby, he was the son of the late Mary Young Curtiss and Joseph Curtiss, Jr.

Bruce was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1981 and enjoyed a 43 year long career as a Produce Clerk at the ACME Supermarket in Havertown before retiring last year.

His hobbies included collecting coins, comic books and baseball cards. He loved visiting the Jersey shore, WWE wrestling, music, and spending time with friends and family. He was kind and caring; he would go out of his way to do anything for anybody. He was deeply loved and will be missed by everyone who got to know him.

He was the father of Heather Yavil (Andrew) and Bruce L. Curtiss, Jr. (Tina), grandfather of Greyson, Theo and Riley Yavil, the brother of Blaine L. Curtiss and Jill A. Patterson (late Robert).
