Bruce J. Berardi, 82, of Newtown Square, died December 22, 2012 at Sunrise at Newtown Square. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Berardi lived in Ridley Park prior to moving to his late residence two years ago.

He was a graduate of South Philadelphia High School for Boys, Class of 1947 and served in the U.S. Air Force where he also played baseball. Bruce was employed as an Appliance Repairman for Philadelphia Gas Works and was formerly a member of The Church of St. Madeline. Bruce loved golf, cooking, playing baseball and enjoyed Philadelphia sports teams. Most important was his devotion to his family and he especially loved going to his grandchildren's sporting events and activities.

He was son of the late Phillip and Laura Tedesti Berardi and brother of the late Francis Berardi.

Survivors: his wife of 60 years, June Davis Berardi, father of Phyllis Belak (Bob), Laura Gipe and Bruce Berardi (Stacey), brother of Henrietta "Ricki" Franchetti, grandfather of Stephanie, Rob, Alex, Ryan, Kristen and Mary Elizabeth.

Memorial Mass: 11 AM Saturday at St. Mary Magdalen R.C. Church, 2400 N. Providence Road, Media, PA 19063
