Brandon C. Seglem, 48, a longtime resident of Swarthmore passed away on July 15, 2019 at his home. Brandon was a graduate of Strath Haven High School, class of 1989 and was a longtime volunteer firefighter and EMT with several Delaware County Fire Companies. He was never more in his element than when fighting a fire or assisting an accident victim where he was caring and calm in a crisis.
Brandon was recently employed by the Chimney Cricket Inc. in Woodlyn, but worked as an Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician most of his life. He also loved animals and was an avid fan of the Philly sports teams, especially the Eagles.
He is survived by his daughter Halley Seglem, his parents Sam and Carl Martin of Wayne, and Kurt Seglem of Rehobeth Beach, DE; his brothers Jeffrey (Rebecca), Christopher, Nicholas (Emily) and Brian; his uncle Lee Seglem (Joanne), and was an uncle to Erin, Hana, Kaitlyn and Joshua Seglem and Dalton Martin.
An Open House Celebration of Brandon's Life will be held from 1 to 3 PM Saturday, July 20, 2019 at The Swarthmore Presbyterian Church, 727 Harvard Ave., Swarthmore, PA. Burial Private.
