It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden loss of Bobbie Jean Dougherty Mills "Mom Mom", 73 of Media who died on February 8, 2024.

Born in Upland, the daughter of the late John and Helen Siti Dougherty, she lived in Broadkill Beach, DE before moving to Media four years ago.
Bobbie was a graduate of Interboro High School, class of 1969 and received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Neumann College.  She was employed as a Registered Nurse at the Assisi House in Aston for 18 years.  Bobbie was an avid reader and loved animals, especially her cat Kitty and dog Jameson, she also enjoyed traveling and going to the beach.  Bobbie loved the Christmas holiday, decorating her several trees and entertaining her family and friends, but most important was her loving family, especially her grandchildren.

She was the loving mother of Danielle R. Moen (Patrick), cherished Mom Mom of Seth, Grace, Ashley, David and Gianna, aunt of Shawn McDowell and the late Shane McDowell, great-aunt of Jake McDowell and she was the sister of the late BJ McDowell.

Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at The Church of St. Madeline, 400 Morton Ave., Ridley Park where relatives and friends may call after 9:30 AM.  Burial private.
