Bob "Rebel" and "Shorty" Williams, 79, of Ridley Park died September 29, 2016 at his home.
A Proud Tarheel born in Williamston, NC, he was the son of the late Lollie and Ala Belle Council Williams.
Bob resided in Philadelphia before moving to his late residence 21 years ago.
Bob graduated from the School of Hard Knocks at 2301 Island Avenue and was employed from age 19. He proudly owned and operated B&B Fleet Service before retiring in 1993.
Bob loved working on trucks, welding, driving his big Mack and Nascar racing. He loved going to the shore, having "a beverage or two" at the Wharf, but the most important thing was playing checkers with and spending time with his grandchildren.
Bob was predeceased by his daughter, Maria B. Tartaglia, who died January 12, 2014.

Williams (Stephen Gallagher), Christina J. Conran (Shawn) and Albert G. Williams (Kristin); brother of Lollie Edward Williams (Linda); Poppy to Regina, Dawn, Kevin, Kristian, Savanna, Brianna, Jessica, Rylie, John and Michael; and great Poppy of Salvatore, Carmine and Natalia
