Blanche M. Talley (nee Achuff), 92 of Concord Township died on May 19, 2024 at her home.  Born in Glen Riddle, the daughter of the late Robert and Ethel McCorkle Achuff, she lived in Aston before moving to Concord Township in 1968.

Blanche was employed as a Nurse Aide at Rosewood Nursing Home in Claymont for 15 years before retiring in 1991 and had previously worked at Longwood Villa and also did private duty nursing.  She was a member of Christ U.M. Church and enjoyed watching tv and reading but most important was time with her loving family.

She was the wife of the late Arthur R. "Deak" Talley, Jr., mother of Connie Talley (Carl Mako), Shirley King (James) and Arthur R. Talley, III (Elaine), sister of Florence Johnson, Richard Achuff and the late Peggy Hardy, Robert, Walter and James Achuff, grandmother of Maureen, John, Glen, Angie and the late Jim King, Jr., she is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service 11 AM Friday, May 31, 2024 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston where relatives and friends may call after 10 AM.  Burial Chester Bethel Cemetery.
