Beverly A. Boyer Sekel 73 of Ridley Park, died April 13, 2016 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Born in Linwood, she was the daughter of the late William P. and Florence Humphrey Boyer and has lived in Ridley Park for over fifty years.

She was a library assistant at the Prospect Park Public Library for the past 15 years and previously worked for the Ridley School District. Most important to Beverly was her devotion to her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was the wife of the late William J. Sekel, her husband of 53 years, who died in 2015 and grandmother of the late Ryan M. Hamrick.

Beverly is survived by her children, Laurie A. Ware (Mark), William J. Sekel, Jr. and Lisa M. Hamrick (Bubby); her grandchildren, Mark W. Ware, Jr., Timothy W. Ware, Cassandra L. Ware, Matthew R. Hamrick and Robert L. Hamrick, Jr.; also her sister Donna Gray (George).

Funeral Service 1:30PM Monday, April 18, 2016 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where friends may call after 12:30PM. Burial Mount Hope Cemetery.
