She was a graduate of Muriel Dobbins Vocational Technical High School, class of 1966.  Beverly worked as an administrative assistant for Reliance Insurance Company, Transamerica Insurance Company, IBM Corporation, William Penn School District and Incarnation Holy Sacrament Episcopal Church.  She enjoyed spending time with her daughter and grandchildren, as well as her nieces, nephews and their families.  Beverly also enjoyed writing to her pen pals of over 50 years, gardening, houseplants, listening to oldies and Josh Groban, reading and computer games.

The family would like to thank the staff at Consultants in Medical Oncology and Hematology, especially Dr. Chowdhury and the nurses at the infusion center for their care.

On April 6, 1974 she married Joseph T. Brescia who predeceased her on January 12, 2017, she was also sister of the late Patricia R. Hansen and Richard K. Roberts and aunt of the late Coleen Patricia Blair.

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Staci Lynn Brescia-Mayfield (Josh), her grandchildren Courtney Lynn and Carl Aiden Mayfield, her siblings Judy A. Blair, Kathryn E. Weiss and James J. Roberts, also 14 nieces and nephews, 36 great-nieces and nephews and 9 great-great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation 10:00 to 11:30 AM Saturday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave. Ridley Park followed by a Funeral Service at 12 noon at the Ridley Park Presbyterian Church, 300 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park.  Burial Arlington Cemetery.
