Betty Lee LeCron, age 86, died October 12, 2013 from complications with dementia. Betty was the daughter of Wilbur and Gladys LeCron, who had met at Swarthmore Prep School in the early 1920's, where they both taught. Later her father became a school superintendent whose work took the family to several towns in the state. Both of her parents predeceased Betty, as did her sister, Mary. Mary's husband, Ken, and their daughter, Perri Ann, took care of Betty after her mother died in 1991.

Born in Chambersburg, PA, Betty lived in Lima Estates for years and previously was a long time resident of Swarthmore, where she lived with her Mother and Father. Betty was never married, but had a long time close friend, Rodney Schwatt of Media.

Burial will be for her family and friends at the LeCron family plot in East Vincent Cemetery in Phoenixville, PA on Wednesday, November 6. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be sent to ACTS Mission Foundation, Lima Estates, 411 S. Middletown Road, Media, PA 19063 c/o the Residents at Lima. This group was very helpful with Betty's life at Lima Estates.
