Betty Brock King, 83 of Garnet Valley, died September 26, 2011 at RIddle Memorial Hospital.
Born in Pequea Valley, PA she lived in West Chester before moving to her late residence 65 years ago.
She formerly worked at Ship N Shore and was a member of Mount Hope United Methodist Church.
Betty loved to travel, enjoyed Ocean City, MD and trips to Lancaster. Most important was her devotion to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. King was the beloved wife of the late John L. "Jack" King, her husband of 57 years, who died February 25, 2004 and mother of the late John L. King, Jr. who died July 22, 1997. She was also predeceased by the family that reared her, the late Vernon and Georgeanna Pyle.
Survivors; her loving daughter; Lura King Cloud (Tom), her loving sister-in-law Judy Conner and her grandsons Thomas and Jonathan Cloud and her great-grandchildren Ashleigh, Casey and Amanda.
Funeral Service 12Noon Saturday, October 1, 2011 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston where friends may call after 11:00AM. Burial Mt. Hope Cemetery.
