Betty J. Kelley Hodgson, 88, of Aston died November 6, 2020 at Fair Acres Geriatric Center.  Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Hopeful MacHenry Kelley and resided in Chester before moving to her last residence in 1958.

Betty was a graduate of Media High School, class of 1950 and was employed as a Receptionist for Dr. Orsher, DDS.  She previously was employed as a Crossing Guard for Aston Township and worked for Boeing Co.  Betty was a member of the Aston Seniors, Christ U.M. Church and previously a longtime member of Crozierville U.M. Church, where she was very active and sang in the choir.  She enjoyed bowling, traveling, kitting and was a volunteer at Riddle Memorial Hospital for over 30 years, but most important was her family.

Betty was predeceased by her loving husband of 45 years, Leo J. Hodgson, who died January 20, 2000; and her siblings, Harold, James, Dorothy, Ernest, John, Robert, Donald and Edwin, Jr.

She was the mother of Denise M. Conrad and the late Elizabeth Diane Hodgson; grandmother of Amanda Micun (Joshua); great grandmother of Hayden and Sophia Micun; and sister of Norman Kelley (Nancy).

Due to COVID-19, services and burial will be private.
