Beth (Buffy) Ryan age 49 of Glenolden, passed away Wednesday January 5th after a lengthy illness.
Diagnosed with kidney failure at 28 years old, Beth maintained a positive attitude and overcame many obstacles in the past 20 years all while keeping her great sense of humor.
A 1990 graduate of Ridley High School, Beth maintained friendship with many of her classmates. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her neices Adelyn and Charlotte who loving referred to her as Bobo. Her dog Elvis was the light of her life and she hated being away from him. Beth loved the beach and going to the Jersey shore. She was a connoisseur of 80's rock music being a huge fan of Eddie Van Halen and Tommy Lee. Beth was also an expert in Seinfeld Trivia, which she loved playing with her friend Dave Strickler. Beth also had the uncanny ability to recall information at the drop of a hat. Her laugh was infectious and despite her health issues was always able to find something to laugh at.
Recently married she is survived by her husband Bryan Hake. Loving daughter of Beth and John Carroll of Morton.
Sister of Ashley (Joe) Corcoran and her nieces Adelyn and Charlotte Corcoran of Ridley Park.
Also survived by her aunt and Uncle Charlie and Paula Evans, Aunts Lillian Paraselli and Debbie Gallo best friend and cousin Carolyn Dougherty Loro, sister Kelly Ryan and many loving cousins' family and friends.
Funeral Service 11 AM Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA where relatives and friends may call after 10 AM. Burial private.
