Bernice Kane, 98, of Ridley Park, passed away November 10, 2012 at Broomall Rehab & Nursing Center. She was born in Emlenton, PA, the daughter of Elizabeth and Levi Williams.
Mrs. Kane graduated from Grove City College and taught in schools for many years. Bernice was active in her community and she was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Ridley Park for 74 years where she was an elder. She was on the Ridley Park Library Board and a member of the Childs Study Club, Women's Club and the Barnstormer's Community Theatre.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kane was predeceased by her husbands Lowry Glenn in 1954 and Thomas Kane in 1991, son Edwin Glenn, five sisters, two brothers, granddaughter Wendy Lynn Neely, and daughters–in-law Marianne Glenn and Donna Glenn.
Survivors: daughter Beth Neely (George) with whom she lived, John Glenn (Jana), daughter-in-law Judy Seba (Dick), sister Dorothy Hazelton, nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, plus nieces and nephews.
Bernice Kane's loving spirit touched many and lives on through her extended family and friends.
Service: 12:00 PM Saturday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Avenue, Ridley Park
