Obituary
Bernard J. Snow, 94, of Christiana, PA, died October 26, 2010 at Christiana Harrison House.
Born in Scotland, he came to the United States in 1919 and settled in Ridley Park. Mr. Snow then lived in Secane for 60 years, before moving to Christiana in 2008. He was a salesman for Grief Brothers for fifty one years, retiring in 1983. A WWII U.S. Army veteran, he was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, where he was active with the CYO, the Kedron Youth Association where he served as a coach. Mr. Snow was devoted to his home and family.
He is survived by his wife, Helen M. Bryan Snow, whom he married in January 1942, children; Robert Barry Snow (Sigrid), Kathleen Simcox (Richard), Jeffrey Snow and Brian Snow (Suzanne), six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was brother of the late Thomas and Hugh Snow and grandfather of the late Kevin and Barry Snow.
Funeral Mass 11:00AM Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, One Fatima Drive, Secane, PA 19018. Visitation 9:30 to 10:30AM at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA. Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to the above church.
