Obituary

Bernard J. "Bernie" Brennan, 80 of Ridley Park died on March 20, 2025.  Born in Darby, the son of the late John and Marion Curry Brennan, he lived in Sharon Hill before moving to Ridley Park fifty years ago.
Bernie was a graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School, class of 1963 and was a proud veteran of the US Navy.  Before his retirement, Bernie was employed as a clerk by the United States Postal Service for many years.  He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially of the Flyers and Phillies also enjoyed bowling and golfing.  Bernie loved going out to eat, spending time with his family and cruising and traveling with his wife.
He was the loving husband of the late Gloria A. MacIntire Brennan, brother of Gene Brennan and the late Jack and Bob Brennan, he is also survived by his sister-in-law Jo Anne MacIntire, nieces, nephews and other extended family members. Bernie was pre-deceased by his nephews, Bobby and Michael Brennan.
Burial Rite 12 noon Friday, March 28, 2025 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where relatives and friends may call after 11 AM.  Burial Edgewood Memorial Park.
