Of Ridley Park, PA. Husband of Mary E. Carpenter (nee McCarthy), father of Lynn Marie Carpenter Smith (Brady), Mary Kate Carpenter (Christina), Benjamin D. Carpenter, Jr., Cathy Lee Carpenter and Juli Carpenter, son of Lois M. Carpenter (nee Dingler), brother of Karen Sue Yingling, Donna Riahi and Gary Nickel. Also survived by two grandsons and three nieces.
Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Monday, February 9, 2009 at The Church of St. Madeline, Penn Street and Morton Avenue, Ridley Park. Burial Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Visitation 6:30 to 8:30 PM Sunday and 8:30 to 9:45 AM Monday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Avenue, Ridley Park, PA 19078.
