Barbara E. Barr Salvadore, 72 of Brookhaven, died peacefully after a valiant fight with breast cancer on January 24, 2012 at Taylor Hospice Residence.
Born in Philadelphia, Barbara was a lifelong resident of Delaware County. A graduate of Eddystone High School, Class of 1957, she also earned her Esthetician license at the Venus Beauty Academy in Sharon Hill.
Barbara worked as a cashier at many supermarkets. Upon retiring she was self-employed and loved working as a dog sitter.
She was a member of the Aston Presbyterian Church and loved attending the theater, gardening, camping at the shore, historic house tours, browsing at yard sales and antique shops. She was passionate about animals, helping others and had a strong devotion to her family.
Barbara was daughter of the late Paul M. and Marion Wittkorn Barr and was the former wife of the late Vincent J. Fioravanti.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Frank A. Salvadore; her children Christine Fioravanti Bennett, Jane Simpson (John) and Frank A. Salvadore, Jr. (Dina), her sisters; Pat Womelsdorf (David), Paula Buckley (Paul) and Susan Ciach (Robert), also ten grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation 9 to 9:45AM at the Church.
Entombment in Lawn Croft Cemetery Mausoleum.
