Barbara R. Robson Marvel, 67 of Malvern, formerly of Aston, died January 24, 2012 at Paoli Memorial Hospital.

Born in Chester, she was the daughter of the late Robert E., Jr. and Ethel M. Welsh Robson.

Barbara was a Technical Writer at DuPont Merck for 13 years, retiring in 1998 and prior to that she worked at Smith Kline and the DuPont Company.

She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, Class of 1962 and Neumann College, Class of 1983.

Barbara was a member of the Neumann Alumni Association. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, needle point, but her passion was her children and grandchildren.

She was wife of the late Robert A. "Ted" Marvel, her husband of 25 years, who died October 6, 1989.

Survivors: Her sons; Paul Robert Marvel (Beth), David Michael Marvel (Marge) and Craig Aaron Marvel (Treena) and her grandchildren; Heather, Matthew, Jake, Shawn, Rachel, Tommy J., Cameron, Aimee and Natalie Marvel.

Funeral Service 10:30AM Monday, January 30, 2012 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd. Aston.

Visitation after 9:30AM at the funeral home. Burial Lawn Croft Cemetery.
