Barbara A. Case Lindsey, 81, of Morton died Jan. 19, 2019. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Francis M. and Margaret M. Downey Case and resided in Boothwyn before moving to her last residence 57 years ago.

Barbara formerly worked as an Aide for Interboro School District and was a member of Holmes Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed playing Bingo at Holmes Fire Co., gardening, dancing and camping in Lancaster.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband, William Lindsey, who died in 1984; her son, Louis B. Rose, III; and her sister, Francine McBurney.

She is survived by her children, Joy McCormick, Susan Vanderzille (Sean Gallagher), Linda Hoke (Joseph) and Joseph W.A. Lindsey; her siblings, Margaret "Judy" Boring (Larry) and Michael Case (Janice); her grandchildren, Richard McCormick, Kimberly McCormick Cooper, William, Casilyn and Derick Vanderzille, Francine and Julia Hoke, Melissa Lindsey DeSalis and Amanda Lindsey; four great grandchildren; also, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM Friday, Jan. 25, 2019 at the Holmes Presbyterian Church, 375 Holmes Rd, Holmes, PA 19043, where friends may call after 9:30 AM. Burial: Edgewood Memorial Park
