Barbara D. Hilton 73 of Glen Mills, died in May 29, 2022 at her home.

Barbara was a graduate of Manheim High School, class of 1966 and West Chester Teacher's College in 1970 with a BS Degree in in Health and Physical Education. She continued at West Chester and earned her Master's Degree in Health and Physical Education and certification in Special Education in grades K-12.

Barbara began her teaching career at Columbia High School from 1970-1972 and in 1973 began in the Ridley School District and taught at Ridley South Junior High School, Edgewood Elementary and Ridley Middle School, retiring in 2005. She also coached Hockey.

After her retirement she was involved in Jack Russell Trials, Tail Blazers Agility Club and Agility shows with her Golden Retriever and Poodle.
Barb also enjoyed riding her horse Nemours "Bo Jangles" for 25 years.

She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas R. and Mary Haldeman Hilton and her adopted mother, Sara Lou Peck.

Barbara is survived by Valerie Jayne Newman, her dear friend and caregiver; siblings Pat Herr (Ray) and Jim Hilton (Susan); two nieces and three nephews.
