Barbara A. (Madden) Christopher, 74 of Longport, NJ passed unexpectedly on December 12, 2021.

Born in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late John and Frances (Mongelli) Madden, she had previously lived in Aston, PA but most recently resided in Longport, NJ.

Barbara was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Girls and also attended Penn State University.  She was currently retired after spending her career in health care in a variety of roles ranging from practice administrator to director.  Barbara was a fabulous cook, loved to entertain, enjoyed dancing and being with family most especially her grandson Anthony.

She was mother of the late Richard Christopher and sister of the late Frank Madden.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Donna M. Wadiak (Brian), her grandson Anthony Wadiak, her brothers Richard (Shirley) and Joseph Madden, nieces, nephews and many dear cousins.

Funeral Mass 11 AM Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at The Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Rd., Aston where relatives and friends may call 9:45 to 10:45 AM. Burial SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
