SGT Austin Parker passed away peacefully at his home on June 13, 2026. He was a graduate of Ridley High School, Class of 2016, and had also attended Liberty University. He was honorably discharged from the United State Marine Corps after serving four years serving as a light-wheeled mechanic on combat vehicles. He continued his service with the Pennsylvania Army National Guard in which he deployed to the Middle East in Operation Enduring Freedom (Spartan Shield). Upon his return, he continued active-duty service with the Guard serving as a Recruiter across the state of Pennsylvania.

Austin enjoyed flying and had his pilot's license, he was also an avid gamer and an outdoorsman who enjoyed shooting. He always looked forward to trying new foods and restaurants and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. Austin will be remembered as a selfless person, who was always willing to help others. In honor of Austin's love of sports and the joy they brought him throughout his life, the family invites visitors to wear their favorite Philadelphia team apparel as we celebrate and remember him.

Austin was predeceased by his paternal grandmother Judith Siminske.

He is survived by his parents, Debra L. Wheatley Parker Steeber (Scott Steeber) and Thomas W. Parker (Karen Walker). His siblings Parker N. Guynes (Hayley E. Cotton) and Alexa Parker (Dylan Blue) along with his beloved nephew dog Georgie Parker, his maternal grandmother Lois Light, his loving girlfriend Arianna Tavares, his Aunt Michelle Galloway (Scott) and is also survived by his cousins Jamie and Jordan Galloway.

On his paternal side, Austin is survived by his aunt and uncle, Trena and Todd Granlund; his cousin, Tricia Newman; his cousin, Tyler Granlund; his aunt and uncle, Tracy and Jeff Tuttle; and his cousins, Mollie Tuttle, Dillon Tuttle, and Dalton Tuttle.

Austin is also survived by his stepfamily, including stepsister Sara Thompson and her daughter, Jianna Melcher; stepsister Caity Savoia and her daughter, Cameron Savoia; and stepbrother Bear Seemann.

A visitation will take place on Friday, June 19, 2026 from 9 to 10:30 AM at Christ Church Episcopal, 104 Nevin St., Ridley Park. PA 19078 where a Burial Rite and Eucharist Service will begin at 11 AM. Burial will be announced at a later date.
