Audrey M. Lesky, 92, of Aston, passed away on September 5, 2025. Born in Philadelphia, she was the devoted daughter of the late Andrew W. and Arlene Beers Lesky.
A graduate of West Catholic High School for Girls (Class of 1950), Audrey went on to earn both her bachelor's and master's degrees in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. She dedicated forty years to the Ridley School District, first as an elementary school teacher for twenty-five years before becoming a principal. Audrey loved teaching and leading her school community; her work was a source of great pride, and she cherished the opportunity to shape young minds and support her colleagues throughout her career.
In retirement, Audrey enjoyed traveling with her friends, caring for her family, and volunteering at the Riddle Thrift Shop for more than twenty years. She was admired for her strength, consistency, and the sense of security that she brought to her family and her community.
Audrey is survived by her great-niece Raquel Silano Stranix and her husband Michael, and their children Saige Viola and Andrew Michael Stranix, with whom she made her home in her later years. She is also survived by her sister Johanna J. Carrelli and her daughter Johanna Jones; her late brother Andrew G. Lesky's children Barbara Silano and Sandra Poulter; and her late sister Arlene C. Smith's children Lee Jane Smith, Kenneth Smith (Phyllis), Charles Smith (Theresa), and the late Frank Smith.
