Atanasio "Tom" Kiritsis, 85 formerly of Newtown Square died on July 25, 2025 with his sister-in-law Eleni by his side.  Born in Olympos, Greece, the son of the late Dimitri and Olga Patlioti Kiritsis, he lived in Springfield before moving to Newtown Square in 2002.

Before his retirement Tom was employed as an engineer at A. Valley Engineers.  Tom was very religious and proud of his Greek Orthodox faith, he was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Media where he was a member of AHEPA.  Tom was also a member of the Senior KAPI Society at St. Luke's Greek Orthodox Church in Broomall. Tom enjoyed reading and loved traveling the world with his "Fofi" and especially enjoyed their trips to Greece and Argentina. Tom was also known for his mastery of the barbeque grill and his love of Zeimbekiko dancing.

He was the loving husband of the late Fotini "Fofi" Aristoklis Kiritsis, he was the brother of Maria who lives in Greece and the late Spiros, Despina and Dimitrios, he is survived by his sister-in-law Eleni Sitaras (Modestos) who provided his care, his brother-in-law Theodore Aristoklis (Vikki) and his sister-in-law Athy Kirtses (Petros), also survived by two goddaughters, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.  Tom is also survived by three nieces, a nephew and their families in Argentina.

Tom's family would like to thank all of the nurses, aides and doctors at Sterling Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Media, along with The Riddle Hospital Staff and Hospice Care Team for the wonderful care and attention they provided to Tom.

Funeral Service 11 AM Monday, August 4, 2025 at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 30 E. Forge Road, Media, PA 19063 where relatives and friends may call after 10 AM.  Burial Lawn Croft Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to St. George Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated.
