Arthur K. Smith, Jr. 69 of Folsom died September 6, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Drexel Hill, he lived in Cape May, NJ before moving to his late residence 37 years ago. He was an auto mechanic in Delaware County for 34 years, retiring in 2006.

He was an Associate member of the Pennsylvania F.O.P. Prior to Art's illness, his lawn was his proud hobby, having a lawn Fit for a King. He loved trips to Lancaster County, Hershey Bear's Hockey and auto racing at dirt tracks. However, most important was his devotion to his loving family.

Art was the son of the late Arthur K. and Dorothy Burk Smith and brother of the late Phyllis Knowles and Carolyn Shelly.

He was the loving husband of Linda Matthews Smith, his wife of 50 years; devoted father of Arthur K. Smith, III (Valerie), David A. Smith (Jacqueline) and William R. Smith (Patricia); cherished grandfather of Laura, Rachel, Emily, Holly and Amanda; brother of Barbara Smith Reagan; also survived by many nephews, nieces and his many friends.

Funeral Service 10:30AM Friday, September 11, 2015 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park. Visitation 7 to 9PM Thursday and after 9:30AM Friday at the funeral home. Burial Valley Forge Memorial Gardens.
